By education, I meant more than awareness, including information about how to do certain tasks in Linux, and helping them migrate from Windows.

I am not so sure about GUIfying everything. Command line has been proven to be more fruitful in some scenarios. I think this is one case where Linux will be different form Windows, where it might offer a more productive combination of GUI + command line, instead of just GUI.

Whichever way it goes, I think this is primetime for the Linux community to help the consumers understand why use Linux and learn it.</description>
