Are you passionate?

Filed Under:

The passionates vs. the non-passionates by Robert Scoble. Great article on what makes a successful company and how to get new users for your products, whether that be a blog or a piece of software or something else entirely. The descriptions of “non-passionates” rings very true with me.

This guy seems to not like these “non-passionates”, but aren’t they just more well adjusted people? Who’s got time to be a passionate when there’s life to live away from the computer? So what if they don’t properly use a web address bar, they probably know how to do a lot more useful things. And I don’t buy into one of the comments that says it should be “educated” versus “noneducated” and that passionates want to learn more. Maybe passionates just need a date. Sometimes I think there are just too many things out there wasting peoples time. Interesting article though.
